Our hot chocolate recipe for better sleep

If you’re craving a great night’s sleep you need Reishi medicinal mushrooms and a sprinkle of Ashwagandha. Reishi is bitter. Some describe it as pleasantly bitter or earthy, while others say it tastes like tree bark. I think it tastes a bit on the barky side, so have spent many nights perfecting a hot choccy nightcap that’s guaranteed to make you smile in your sleep.

Adam’s night time choccy drink


  • 1 level tablespoon cacao
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon peanut or almond butter
  • 1 cup of coconut milk or other milk of your choice
  • 1 serve Shroom to Improve Reishi medicinal mushroom
  • 1 serve Shroom to Improve Ashwagandha


  1. Pour your milk into a saucepan and heat slowly. When it’s just above drinking temperature, pour into your blender.
  2. Add cacao, honey, nut butter, and a serve of Shroom to Improve Reishi mushroom and Ashwagandha
  3. Whizz on high for 30 seconds
  4. Pour, put your feet up and enjoy
